\n Harry Wendelken and Henry Patten, who trained at Culford Tennis Academy in Suffolk, have been named in the squad for this weekend’s qualifier against Ecuador.\n<\/p>\n

\n Patten, currently the world No.1 in doubles, is already a three-time Grand Slam champion.\n<\/p>\n
\n Wendelken, 24, earned his first senior call-up to the squad at London\u2019s Copper Box Arena after Cam Norrie withdrew due to injury.\n<\/p>\n
\n Claire Bentley, head of Culford School, said: “We are enormously proud of Harry and Henry.\n<\/p>\n
\n “To have two Old Culfordians representing Great Britain in the Davis Cup is a wonderful moment for our whole community, and a reflection of the dedication of our coaches and the ambition of our pupils.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Wendelken was part of the Culford team that won the Under-18 Glanville Cup in 2017.\n<\/p>\n

\n Patten made his Davis Cup debut in 2024, securing a win.\n<\/p>\n
\n Chris Johnson, head of tennis at Culford, said: “Harry and Henry are fantastic role models for our current players.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Over the past year, Culford boys and girls have won national titles in both individual and team events, following on from two European titles for Culford pupils in 2024.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The pathway at Culford is working, and we’ll all be cheering Harry and Henry on this weekend.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Culford\u2019s tennis academy, in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association, continues to produce standout talent.\n<\/p>\n

\n Current pupil Bella recently won the Under-14 National Grass Court Championships, earning her a place at the Wimbledon U14 Junior Invitational.\n<\/p>\n
\n Megan Knight and Scott Watson, also from the academy, finished 2024 as European U14 No.1s and won the Tennis Europe Junior Masters singles titles in Monte-Carlo.\n<\/p>\n
