Back in July, Alela Diane released her latest album, Who\u2019s Keeping Time?<\/a> In his album review, Mark Underwood concludes:<\/p>\n

For all its preoccupation with what slips away \u2014 faces misremembered, friends taken too early, the houses we once lived in \u2014 Who\u2019s Keeping Time? is markedly less solitary than anything Diane has made since To Be Still. Hurley\u2019s death sent her back into the room with other musicians, and the attic recordings have the warmth of an ensemble that can feel where the next phrase is going before it gets there. The album doesn\u2019t argue against loss; it gathers people around it. \u201cEverything in perpetual motion,\u201d Alela says. \u201cWe\u2019re all just passing through.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her run of live video sessions titled \u201cAttic Live Sessions\u201d, she has shared two further takes from the album, including In My Own Time, described in our review as a \u201cgentle meditation on how the distractions of the modern world can easily prove a thief to precious time, and the need to live more properly inside the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
