Lauren Graham, she\u2019s just like us! The actress and author, best known for her iconic roles in Gilmore Girls<\/a> and Parenthood, doesn\u2019t have too much in common with Lorelai Gilmore\u2019s questionable eating habits, but there is one trait they share.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess just stand[ing] with the refrigerator door open eating out of the refrigerator like a heathen,\u201d she says of their shared food habits. Honestly, same.<\/p>\n

While you wouldn\u2019t raise an eyebrow at Lorelai eating straight out of the ice cream tub or snagging a Pop-Tart<\/a> for breakfast, Graham\u2019s latest food project is a little more polished. She recently partnered with Bob\u2019s Red Mill for the second year of the company\u2019s Moregetherness<\/a> campaign, which encourages people to connect over food.<\/p>\n

For the campaign, Graham shared her recipe for Gluten-Free Banana Coffee Cake Muffins<\/a>, made with Bob\u2019s Red Mill Gluten-Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour. As someone with celiac disease, Graham says it\u2019s important for people to know that gluten-free<\/a> doesn\u2019t have to mean underwhelming baked goods.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes gluten-free flours can have sort of a texture that isn’t great. And I find this texture really nice,\u201d she says of the brand\u2019s flour. \u201cThere\u2019s something wonderfully old-fashioned about bringing something homemade to someone\u2019s door\u2014it\u2019s personal without being complicated. [And] showing up with food says, \u2018I was thinking of you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

That emphasis on showing up for people also has an obvious connection to Gilmore Girls and its famously tight-knit Stars Hollow community.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been lucky enough to be associated with a fictional world where people really show up for one another. Moregetherness takes that feeling people love and makes it possible in real life,\u201d Graham says.<\/p>\n

Graham will also be revisiting that world of Stars Hollow in the upcoming Gilmore Girls documentary, but the sense of community wasn\u2019t limited to what viewers saw onscreen. It ran through the cast, too.<\/p>\n

When reminiscing about her time on set, Graham shared one late-night snack she particularly associates with co-star Kelly Bishop.<\/p>\n

\u201cKelly Bishop was a dancer and very, very disciplined. I never saw her eat anything kind of excessive, and she would come up to me at two in the morning and be like, \u2018Do you want to split a bag of Cheetos<\/a>?\u2019\u201d Graham recalls. \u201cWe\u2019d go to craft services and get one of those little tiny bags, and she would delicately eat them, so I always think of her with Cheetos.\u201d<\/p>\n

And don\u2019t worry, I asked: They opted for the crunchy version, not the puffs. Next time, don\u2019t forget to invite me, guys!<\/p>\n
