\n The championships featured a full schedule of finals across two days, with members competing in singles, doubles and mixed events in front of strong support from fellow club members.\n<\/p>\n
\n In the men’s singles, Barry overcame Ryan Bunyan to take the title, while Deborah claimed the ladies’ singles crown with victory over Nancy Bunyan.\n<\/p>\n

\n Grant Cockerill and Ryan Bunyan landed the men’s doubles championship after recovering from the loss of the opening set to defeat Chris and Drummond Bone 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.\n<\/p>\n
\n The mixed doubles title went to Drummond Bone and Laura, who secured a 6-4, 6-3 win over Fraser and Deborah.\n<\/p>\n
\n Meanwhile, Deborah and Barry teamed up to win the mixed handicap competition against Mary Lunday and Drummond in a very closely fought encounter, winning 4-6, 7-6, 6-4.\n<\/p>\n

\n Reflecting on the championships weekend, the club congratulated all of its finalists and thanked the many supporters who turned out to watch.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson said: “A huge well done to all our winners and runners-up from this year’s club championships.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It was an epic weekend of back-to-back matches, plenty of exciting games and fantastic tennis.\n<\/p>\n
