Liverpool look set to welcome Hugo Ekitike to Anfield after reportedly reaching an agreement to sign the striker from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Reds appear to have beaten off competition from Newcastle to land the 23-year-old on a six-year contract.

Liverpool cruised to the Premier League title last season as Arne Slot enjoyed an incredible maiden campaign in England. The Merseyside giants ultimately finished 10 points ahead of second-place Arsenal as they wrapped up the title before the end of April. Slot is reshaping his squad ahead of the new season as he eyes more silverware next term. And Express Sport take a look at 10 deals the Reds can complete after Ekitike arrives in the north west.

Incomings

Marc Guehi

Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi is said to be Liverpool’s top target in defence, with the England international now in the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park.

And Palace may be willing to cash in on the 25-year-old as he looks unlikely to pen fresh terms in the capital.

Rodrygo

Liverpool have reportedly held preliminary talks with Real Madrid over a move for Rodrygo, with the forward falling out of favour at the Bernabeu Stadium.

The 24-year-old Brazilian played 30 times in La Liga last season, but featured for just 92 minutes at the Club World Cup as he was left on the bench in three of his side’s six matches.

Outgoings

Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz is attracting interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich, with Liverpool recently rejecting a £60million offer from the Bundesliga giants.

Slot’s side are said to be using Bayern’s willingness to pay £86m in exchange for Florian Wirtz against them and would consider a sale if Munich increase their bid towards that figure.

Darwin Nunez

Darwin Nunez apparently approved a transfer to Napoli earlier this summer but would also consider a move to the Saudi Pro League.

The Uruguay international has proven to be a nightmare for opposition defenders in the Premier League due to his physical capabilities, but has often lacked an end product.

Harvey Elliott

Harvey Elliott starred for England at the European Under-21 Championship but is still unlikely to nail down a regular starting place at Anfield next season. And West Ham are rumoured to be keen to sign the 22-year-old attacker for £40m.

Tyler Morton

The Hammers are also said to be interested in signing defensive midfielder Tyler Morton and could be forced to pay £15m in exchange for the 22-year-old.

Kostas Tsimikas

With Milos Kerkez arriving from Bournemouth earlier this summer, Kostas Tsimikas would drop further down the pecking order at Anfield if Andy Robertson stays at the club. So the Greece international may prefer to move on in search of more opportunities.

Ben Doak

Another player who may be desperate for regular action is winger Ben Doak, who enjoyed a loan spell with Middlesbrough last season.

The 19-year-old has reportedly piqued the interest of Nottingham Forest after Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Everton made enquiries about his availability.

Rhys Williams

Rhys Williams hasn’t appeared for the Liverpool first team since slotting in at centre-back during an injury crisis at the end of the 2020/21 campaign. The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Morecambe in League Two so may decide to sign a permanent deal away from Anfield.

Calvin Ramsay

Liverpool had high hopes for Calvin Ramsay when they signed him from Aberdeen in 2022. But the 21-year-old has only played two matches for the Reds and appears to be surplus to requirements on Merseyside.

Liverpool look set to welcome Hugo Ekitike to Anfield after reportedly reaching an agreement to sign the striker…

[2
1580,1113,49,942,708,134,2725,1767,1765,4556,50,51,47,52,48,1114
post-7807","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-headlines","tag-darwin-nunez","tag-football-section","tag-headlines","tag-hugo-ekitike","tag-liverpool","tag-liverpool-fc","tag-liverpool-news","tag-liverpool-transfer-news","tag-luis-diaz","tag-marc-guehi","tag-news","tag-top-news","tag-top-stories","tag-topnews","tag-topstories","tag-transfer-news-section
["GET
