The emotional first trailer for Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> and Black Sabbath<\/a>\u2019s forthcoming Back To The Beginning concert film has been released \u2013 watch it below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The film captures the historic July 5, 2025 concert at Villa Park in Birmingham, which marked both Osbourne\u2019s final solo performance and the last-ever show from Black Sabbath\u2019s original line-up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It will arrive in cinemas worldwide for a limited run from October 28, and tickets are on sale now via the official website\u00a0here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The newly released minute-long trailer opens with Tom Morello<\/a>, who served as musical director for the show, reflecting on the sheer scale of the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s never been a precedent for a show like this,\u201d he says over footage from the day. \u201cMillions of people around the world got to say, \u2018Thank you Black Sabbath. Thank you Ozzy.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The clip intercuts footage of Osbourne and Sabbath onstage with shots capturing the scale and emotion of the Villa Park crowd, as well as glimpses behind the scenes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Sharon Osbourne also reveals the determination it took for her husband to make the concert happen despite his health problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was told he probably wouldn\u2019t make it through the show,\u201d she says. \u201cHe said, \u2018No, I\u2019m doing it. Whatever happens, happens.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trailer ends on a particularly poignant image of Osbourne smiling out at the audience before telling them: \u201cGod bless each and every one of you. I love you all.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The concert itself brought Osbourne back to his hometown for his farewell<\/a>, and reunited him with founding Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi<\/a>, Geezer Butler<\/a> and Bill Ward for their first performance together in more than 20 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Osbourne died aged 76 just 17 days later<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The film will include footage from every part of the all-day event, alongside personal reflections from those who performed and behind-the-scenes material featuring Morello and host Jason Momoa<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Among the acts represented are Metallica<\/a>, Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/a>, Tool<\/a>, Slayer<\/a>, Pantera<\/a>, Alice In Chains<\/a>, Gojira<\/a>, Anthrax<\/a>, Lamb Of God, Mastodon<\/a>, Rival Sons and Halestorm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A series of all-star performances from the day also make the cut, including Yungblud<\/a>\u2019s rendition of \u2018Changes\u2019 with Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello, Sleep Token drummer II and Adam Wakeman.\u00a0The performance was subsequently released as a charity single with Osbourne\u2019s approval<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The film will also include Ozzy solo performances of \u2018I Don\u2019t Know\u2019, \u2018Mr Crowley\u2019, \u2018Suicide Solution\u2019 and \u2018Crazy Train\u2019, before Black Sabbath\u2019s closing run through \u2018War Pigs\u2019, \u2018N.I.B.\u2019, \u2018Iron Man\u2019 and \u2018Paranoid\u2019. \u2018Mama I\u2019m Coming Home\u2019 will close the film.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The concert ultimately raised around \u00a311million for charity<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following the show, Iommi said it had offered \u201cclosure for the band\u201d, while Butler described the atmosphere as \u201cpure love\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s never been anything like that that\u2019s happened in the history of rock and roll,\u201d Morello said of the event<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s never been a precedent for a show like this.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Iommi recalled his final conversation with Osbourne<\/a>, which took place the night before the singer died.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said to me, \u2018I really feel tired and really worn out\u2019,\u201d Iommi recalled. \u201cI said, \u2018Well, you\u2019re bound to really, it\u2019s been a lot of stress and pressure and stuff like that\u2019.
