\n\tAs Netflix prepares to release another season of its mixed-faith Jewish rom-com Nobody Wants This<\/a>, leading man Adam Brody<\/a> is using his platform to speak up for Palestinians.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 2x Golden Globe-nominated actor emphasized his support for \u201cFree Palestine<\/a>\u201d as the topic of Israel\u2019s attacks on Gaza came up in a recent interview ahead of Season 3 of Nobody Wants This, arriving Oct. 22 on Netflix.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBetween COVID, a second Trump term, Israel-Gaza, it\u2019s really brought out some different beliefs that I was ignorant to, and then disheartened by,\u201d he told GQ<\/a> about Hollywood\u2019s conservative pivot.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrody admitted that \u201ctruthfully,\u201d the Israel-Hamas<\/a> conflict has not come up for him in recent interviews, despite his role as Rabbi Noah Roklov in the Erin Foster-created series. \u201cI have spoken a lot about it privately. I haven\u2019t spoken much about it publicly,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPut me down as thinking it\u2019s a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine,\u201d said Brody. \u201cIt\u2019s awful that it\u2019s taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it\u2019s reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. I\u2019m hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is.\u201d<\/p>\n
