Pictures chiller will debut on HBO linear on Saturday, October 3, at 8 p.m. ET, following special showings of Fede \u00c1lvarez\u2019s Evil Dead (2013) and Lee Cronin\u2019s Evil Dead Rise (2023).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tReleased to theaters last July, Evil Dead Burn, directed by Vani\u010dek and written by Vani\u010dek and Florent Bernard, stars Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Erroll Shand and Maude Davey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe synopsis: \u201cAfter the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites \u2013 turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell \u2013 she comes to discover that the vows she took in life live on\u2026 even in death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film is directed by S\u00e9bastien Vani\u010dek and written by S\u00e9bastien Vani\u010dek and. It is produced by Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi. The executive producers are Bruce Campbell, Romel Adam, Sarah Spurway, Jose Ca\u00f1as and Lee Cronin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFollowing Sam Raimi\u2019s original trilogy, which included The Evil Dead (1981), Evil Dead II (1987) and Army of Darkness (1993), the franchise was rebooted with \u00c1lvarez\u2019s Evil Dead in 2013. Cronin\u2019s Evil Dead Rise steered the movies in a new darker direction, scoring $147M globally.
