The pair faced harsh criticism and landed eighth on the leader board for the quickstep to Bruno Mars’ ‘I Just Might’.<\/p>\n
But who is to blame?<\/p>\n
Fans are pointing the finger at Maddie.<\/p>\n
One wrote online, \u201cThe blame definitely lies with Maddie\/whoever choreographed – he can only dance what he’s given and he danced that very well.\u201d Another added, \u201cI do wonder how he would have done with another pro.\u201c<\/p>\n
One chimed in with, \u201cAnd this is where an experienced pro gets it right for their celeb if you compare it to John and Katya\u2019s dance.\u201d And it continued, \u201cThe blame should be on Maddie, it definitely wasn’t the right time or place for his moves.\u201d<\/p>\n
It wasn\u2019t all bad, some fans defended Maddie writing, \u201cI think some people are being a bit too harsh on saying Maddie should go.\u201d<\/p>\n
Although the judges were unanimous in their feedback. Craig was characteristically harsh, he said, \u201cThe whole point of this is that you\u2019re learning a new genre of dance. So I\u2019m finding it really difficult to actually judge that. The posture wasn\u2019t great, the frame wasn\u2019t great.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shirley Ballas \u2018absolutely agreed\u2019 with him as did Motsi Mabuse.<\/p>\n
