However, they did make one mistake away from the golf course earlier in the week according to the Australian.

Min Woo Lee highlights mistake Internationals made on Friday after Presidents Cup foursomes

The International team led by a score of 7-3 after the first two sessions of the Presidents Cup.

However, Team USA got the better of the eight matches on Saturday overall, cutting the Internationals’ lead to three points heading into Sunday.

Min Woo Lee was asked what he and his teammates learned from their slow start to the Saturday morning four-ball matches.

MORE PRESIDENTS CUP STORIES

“I think we celebrated last night. That was not that we won or anything, just because we did a really good job,“ he replied.

“We knew that Americans were going to come out firing, and they did. You look at the board this morning, it was a sea of red — sea of red? Well, lots of red.

“A few of us locked in and flipped that, but yes, maybe just — maybe just locking in a little bit more, I guess, and not celebrating. I don’t know. We did a good job.

“Americans are such a good side, so we expected it. Yeah, we trusted each other, and I think we’re happy with where we’re at. Yeah, one more day.“

Judging by Min Woo Lee’s comments, the Internationals celebrated a little bit too early. That said, if you can’t celebrate a clean sweep against the might of the United States of America then what can you celebrate?

Join Our Newsletter

Receive exclusive football transfer news and updates twice a week to your mailbox

      Add to Preferred Sources

Follow us on Google Discover Min Woo Lee has played a crucial role for the International team at…

[39
5904,115027,48976,101,56,54,55
post-784878","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-golf","tag-golf","tag-min-woo-lee","tag-presidents-cup","tag-sports","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
