\n\tRobert Pattinson<\/a> doesn\u2019t see his version of Batman interacting with other DC superheroes within James Gunn<\/a>\u2018s cinematic universe.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile Batman and Superman have one of the most famous friendships in DC Comics, the Primetime star<\/a> recently explained to LADbible<\/a> why it would be \u201ctough\u201d for director Matt Reeves<\/a>\u2019 version of Bruce Wayne to exist in Gunn\u2019s DCU<\/a>, such as with David Corenswet\u2019s Superman. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think it would be kind of tough to have this version of Bruce outside of that world. It\u2019s one of the only characters, I guess because of the length of the shoots but also it\u2019s such a specific kind of [style], the tone of it gets inside you,\u201d Pattinson said. \u201cI remember that happened to me the last time I did it, it took a while. You\u2019re just in the dark, the whole time. Both mood-wise and light-wise, I can\u2019t see anything for like months. It does affect you; like you feel strange afterwards.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReeves\u2019 The Batman<\/a><\/a>, released in 2022, is a darker take on the iconic character, as it\u2019s a grounded psychological crime noir rather than a typical superhero action pic. The film sees Pattinson\u2019s Batman investigate Gotham\u2019s hidden corruption after a sadistic serial killer begins murdering key political figures.<\/p>\n

\n\tPattinson reprised his character for Reeves\u2019 The Batman Part II, which is currently in production<\/a> and set to hit theaters on Feb. 18, 2028<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Odyssey actor recently teased to Collider that the sequel <\/a>is \u201ca real left turn from the first\u201d movie, adding that \u201cit\u2019s so ambitious.\u201d<\/p>\n
