Disrespect us boxers, you\u2019re all getting it.\u201d<\/p>\n But former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley thinks \u2018The Destroyer\u2019 would be biting off more than he could chew.<\/p>\n In fact, during an interview with Action Network<\/a>, Woodley went as far as to predict that Topuria<\/a> would knock out Benn inside the first four rounds.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m watching what he\u2019s doing \u2014 his setups, his power,\u201d Woodley said of Topuria. \u201cHe shortens his punches up close, extends when he\u2019s long, uses feints, jabs, power in both hands, presses forward, great defense.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI think he could do damage in boxing. He could even jump straight in against top guys in his weight. I don\u2019t know the exact weight, but I think he can be a force. I think Ilia would beat Conor Benn.<\/p>\n \u201cBenn\u2019s got power, too, but Ilia\u2019s cleaner, sharper, more technical, with the same power,\u201d Woodley continued. \u201cBenn\u2019s got a lot of power, but I\u2019d say Ilia stops him. I\u2019d got on record to say Ilia Topuria would stop Conor Benn, and I don\u2019t think it would take more than four rounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt would take the first three to adjust to boxing clinching, range, and distance, but between rounds three and four, I think he knocks him unconscious.\u201d<\/p>\n If Topuria wants the chance to put his boxing talents to the test against Benn, he had better start pushing for Dana White to change his stance on another UFC-boxing crossover clash<\/a>.
