Former Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> professional Karen Hauer<\/a> will join reality television personalities Joey Essex<\/a> and Scarlett Moffatt<\/a> on the latest series of Cooking With The Stars<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Returning to ITV<\/a> for its sixth series next month, the reality programme sees 12 celebrities each paired up with an accomplished chef who will mentor them towards becoming cooks capable of delivering restaurant-standard dishes.<\/p>\n

Presenter Emma Willis<\/a>, who recently made her debut as one of the new hosts of Strictly, returns to presenter duties for the upcoming series alongside comedian Tom Allen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Essex, who has featured on popular television programmes such as The Only Way Is Essex<\/a>, Love Island<\/a> and I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out Of Here!, is headed into the kitchen alongside fellow TV star Moffatt, who rose to fame on the hit Channel 4<\/a> series Gogglebox<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hauer will swap her dancing shoes for kitchen utensils<\/a>, marking one of her first major projects since announcing her departure from Strictly in March following 14 years <\/a>on the BBC<\/a> dancing competition.<\/p>\n

Gladiators<\/a> star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, with whom she was partnered during her final series of the show in 2025, is also among the celebrities set to battle it out for the coveted Golden Frying Pan trophy.<\/p>\n

Five-time Olympic gold medallist Dame Laura Kenny is taking a step back from cycling as she enters the kitchen, while Emmerdale<\/a> star Mark Charnock and TV presenter Zara McDermott<\/a> are also among the fellow contestants.<\/p>\n

Other celebrities appearing on the show include Mark “Bez” Berry, a member of rock bands Happy Mondays and Black Grape, alongside comedian Seann Walsh<\/a> and presenter JB Gill.<\/p>\n

Actress Caroline Quentin<\/a>, who has appeared in hit shows such as Men Behaving Badly and Blue Murder, and Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph complete the line-up.<\/p>\n

Professional chefs taking part this year include Kate Austen, who made history in 2024 as the first female chef to win the main course on BBC cooking competition Great British Menu.<\/p>\n

Ms Austen is joined by influencer and cookbook author Sam Holland, as well as Jean-Philippe Blondet, who serves as the chef patron at three-Michelin-starred restaurant The Dorchester.<\/p>\n

Nokx Majozi, who is currently a chef in residence at Fallow in London, and Soho restaurateur Angelo Sato are also among the professionals lined up to mentor the cast.<\/p>\n

Willis is “thrilled” to return for the upcoming series and said: “Year after year, our celebrities continue to outdo themselves, surprising us and the audience with their culinary capability.<\/p>\n

“This year we have a jam-packed line-up, with four additional celebrities competing compared to last year.<\/p>\n

“With a fuller kitchen, there is bound to be even more fun, commotion, and kitchen disasters!”<\/p>\n

Allen said: “I admire our celebrities\u2019 confidence to showcase their cooking prowess by preparing dishes for a panel of esteemed chefs.<\/p>\n

“Emma and I are joining forces again to unleash a brand-new season, there\u2019ll undoubtedly be spectacular wins and downright catastrophes (fingers crossed it\u2019s just slightly burnt, not inedible!).<\/p>\n

“Get ready, let the delicious chaos commence!”<\/p>\n

Cooking With The Stars is produced through a partnership between Marks & Spencer, ITV and independent production company South Shore.<\/p>\n
