Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave<\/a> recently arrived exclusively on the Switch 2, and to celebrate, Nintendo’s battle royale Tetris 99<\/a> will be hosting a special in-game event.<\/p>\n

During the 57th Maximum Cup, players who earn 100 points will unlock a unique theme featuring special art, music and Tetrimino designs.<\/p>\n

This event will take place later this week 2nd – 5th October, and you can check out the official gameplay trailer above.<\/p>\n

“The Tetris\u00ae 99 57th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12 a.m. PT on October 2 to 11:59 p.m. PT on October 5. To participate, you\u2019ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You\u2019ll earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you\u2019ve accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by the Fire Emblem: Fortune\u2019s Weave game** for the Nintendo Switch 2 system!”<\/p>\n
