Good day, and thank you for opening this week’s newsletter! What was supposed to be a quiet weekend in women’s cycling, with only a three-day stage race to keep us all occupied, turned into an ongoing conversation about rider safety, the overall power of the UCI, Velon, and a handful of other things to boot. It was a wild weekend, with both sides taking aim at each other and no one looking too good. With the UCI dropping new rules willy-nilly, the conversation won’t stop at GPS-gate, and there’s no telling how this will continue to play out. <\/p>\n
