A Hollywood agency has set the record straight on representing Meghan, Duchess of Sussex after Ari Emanuel, the executive chairman of WME Group, made a cryptic comment about her future.<\/p>\n

When discussing his forthcoming memoir, Roll the Calls, Mr Emanuel was asked where he believed the Duchess of Sussex’s career was heading.<\/p>\n

He told the Sunday Times: “Here’s the great thing: I don’t have to think about that anymore.”<\/p>\n

GB News contacted both Meghan’s spokesman and WME for comment.<\/p>\n

A WME spokeswoman told the People’s Channel: “I can confirm that WME continues to represent Meghan and Archewell.”<\/p>\n

It is currently unclear what Mr Emanuel meant when he claimed he “doesn’t have to think about that anymore”.<\/p>\n

Meghan joined WME in April 2023, assembling a heavyweight roster of representatives.<\/p>\n

Alongside Mr Emanuel, her team comprised senior talent partner Brad Slater and Jill Smoller, the agent long associated with Serena Williams.<\/p>\n

WME was brought on to accelerate the Duchess of Sussex’s post-royal ambitions across film and television production, high-value brand partnerships, and commercial ventures.<\/p>\n

The arrangement also extended to Archewell, the content and media company she co-founded with Prince Harry.<\/p>\n

The alliance paired one of Hollywood’s most powerful talent agencies with one of the world’s most recognisable public figures.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix lifestyle programme, With Love, Meghan, was cancelled in January following two series and a holiday special.<\/p>\n

Despite this, the first series reached the Global Top 10 and the Top 10 in 24 countries, with 5.3 million views in the first half of 2025. <\/p>\n

Netflix also described it as its most-watched culinary show since its release.<\/p>\n

In March, the streaming platform withdrew its financial backing from As Ever, Meghan’s pantry brand. <\/p>\n

Netflix said the first collection sold out in under an hour, with products continuing to sell out in what it described as record time.<\/p>\n

When the brand subsequently separated from Netflix in 2026, an As Ever spokesman said it had experienced \u201cmeaningful and rapid growth\u201d and was ready to operate independently.<\/p>\n
