Kings Of Leon<\/a> have dropped the serene new single, and a powerful new music video made in collaboration with the Weather Channel.<\/p>\n

The song is the latest to be shared from the group\u2019s nostalgic new album \u2018O My Beloved\u2019, which was announced earlier this month with the tender single \u2018My Whole World\u2019.<\/p>\n

Set for release on November 6 via Love Tap Records, the record marks the 10th album from the Tennessee rock giants, and their first since 2024\u2019s \u2018Can We Please Have Fun\u2019<\/a>. Visit here to pre-order<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, they have dropped a second preview of the album with the heartfelt track \u2018Cold Blue Dawn\u2019.<\/p>\n

Taking on a bluesy sound, the single sees frontman Caleb Followill and co. embrace a reflective, appreciative approach, and admire how the natural world helps shape our own personal experiences.<\/p>\n

It also comes with a first-of-its-kind lyric video, which the band made in partnership with The Weather Channel, the consumer brand of The Weather Company<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The visuals use satellite imagery from NASA\u2019s historic Landsat programme to spell out every word and every letter of the lyrics, including stunning shots of rivers, coastlines, farmland, mountain ranges and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy family was already die-hard Weather Channel followers,\u201d said Caleb Followill. \u201cSo we saw what they did with our song immediately and thought it was beautiful. We learned they were making music a larger part of what they do and we reached out immediately to try and do something together. They have been super cool to work with, and we hope this unlikely partnership keeps going because it makes a lot of sense to us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rohit Agarwal, CEO of The Weather Company shared: \u201cWeather isn\u2019t the backdrop to our lives, it\u2019s part of the story. It shapes the moments we remember, the places we love and the experiences that connect us, much like music.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis collaboration with Kings of Leon brings that idea to life in a completely new way, using science and creativity to remind us just how extraordinary it is to experience the world around us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The collaboration comes following The Weather Channel creating a viral clip of weather formations set to the band\u2019s song \u2018Pyro\u2019, which the band later embraced and posted on social media.<\/p>\n

As for the album as a whole, \u2018O My Beloved\u2019 is expected to be their most intimate and unguarded record yet, and its 13-songs centre around nostalgia and self-reflection.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we\u2019ve built something that is so special,\u201d the frontman shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought, wouldn\u2019t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we\u2019ve done and appreciating how we got here,\u201d he added. \u201cIn the songs, there\u2019s our families, stories from our childhood, things that maybe didn\u2019t seem that significant at the time, but the way they find their way into these songs kind of lets me realise how impactful they really were in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The announcement of the new album comes following Kings Of Leon wrapping up a huge 2026 UK tour earlier this summer<\/a>, where they were joined by The Snuts<\/a>, The Lathums<\/a> and The Royston Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They have also headlined Mad Cool 2026<\/a> in Madrid, kicked off the inaugural State Fayre festival with a hits-packed headline set<\/a>, and played an intimate Nashville show<\/a> where they played the lead single \u2018My Whole World\u2019 live for the first time.<\/p>\n

\u2018Can We Please Have Fun<\/a>\u2019 was given a three-star review from NME<\/a> when it dropped in 2024, and praised as \u201ceasily KOL\u2019s most promising, liberated record for over a decade\u201d, but \u201cstill surprisingly restrained in places\u201d.<\/p>\n
