{"id":788096,"date":"2026-10-01T03:06:12","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T03:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/788096\/"},"modified":"2026-10-01T03:06:12","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T03:06:12","slug":"ps-plus-members-can-claim-free-psn-avatars-for-sonys-record-breaking-spider-man-brand-new-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/788096\/","title":{"rendered":"PS Plus Members Can Claim Free PSN Avatars for Sony&#8217;s Record-Breaking Spider-Man: Brand New Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/images.pushsquare.com\/317f6db3c22d9\/large.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1280x720.jpg\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/guides\/all-ps-plus-games-available-now\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PS Plus<\/a> subscriber, you\u2019ll be able to claim a set of free Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars starting next week, from 6th October.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the digital release of the record-breaking movie in the Sony Pictures Core app, subscribers will be able to claim six PSN profile icons, including Tom Holland\u2019s Spider-Man and Zendaya\u2019s MJ Watson.<\/p>\n<p>Members will have to boot up the Sony Pictures Core app and follow the steps inside to claim the avatars for free; non-members can still get them, but will need to purchase the digital version of the record-breaking movie to get them.<\/p>\n<p>Spider-Man: Brand New Day <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/news\/2026\/08\/spider-man-2s-ps5-sales-have-exploded-after-brand-new-days-box-office-blowout\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">broke domestic Box Office records<\/a> earlier this year, becoming the highest-grossing US release of all time. Internationally, it\u2019s a whisker away from taking $2.5 billion, making it the third most successful movie ever made.<\/p>\n<p>I personally don\u2019t think these avatars are great, but they\u2019re not the worst set I\u2019ve ever seen. That said, I don\u2019t think I\u2019d equip any of them on my profile. (I\u2019d definitely recommend the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/marvel_tokon_fighting_souls\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marvel Tokon<\/a> ones if you want to give your account a superhero flavour.)<\/p>\n<p>Remember, next week will also bring a selection of new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/guides\/all-ps-plus-games-available-now\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PS Plus Essential<\/a> games, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/ea_sports_f1_25\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">F1 25<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/hunt_showdown_1896\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hunt: Showdown 1896<\/a>.
