King Charles III reportedly wants to \u201cheal the rift\u201d between Prince William and Prince Harry with a service to honor their late mother, Princess Diana.<\/p>\n
The 30th anniversary of the late Princess of Wales\u2019 death, notably, is next August \u2014 and the monarch, 77, has \u201craised no objection\u201d to a Thanksgiving service for his ex-wife, per the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n Columnist Ephraim Hardcastle claimed Thursday that the service \u201cwould be similar to the 2007 one on her 10th anniversary at the Wellington Barracks Guards\u2019 Chapel, where her favorite music was played and Harry delivered the eulogy.\u201d<\/p>\n King Charles (pictured above on Sept. 22) is reportedly planning to \u201cheal the rift\u201d between Prince Harry and Prince William. POOL\/AFP via Getty Images<\/p>\n He noted that while the siblings \u201cseem to have rejected any chance of working together,\u201d a religious event could change the tides.<\/p>\n Another source told the outlet this possibility, which is reportedly being serioiusly considered, could potentially \u201cbring the brothers together.\u201d<\/p>\n The individual added, \u201cThis would be an inspirational way to remember Diana. William could celebrate his mother\u2019s life by giving a reading.\u201d<\/p>\n The insider called this option \u201cfar more dignified than\u201d the Prince of Wales, 44, appearing in one of the many documentaries<\/a> he has been asked to take part in.<\/p>\n Charles is allegedly planning to do so with a service for Princess Diana (pictured above in August 1989), whose 30th death anniversary is approaching.
