\n\t\u201cThe Great British Bake Off\u201d co-host Alison Hammond<\/a> is reassuring fans that she\u2019s \u201cfine\u201d after making a swift exit from her gig on ITV<\/a>\u2019s \u201cThis Morning<\/a>\u201d due to a health scare.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHello, my lovelies,\u201d Hammond said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories later Friday. In the clip, which is overlaid with the text \u201cAnything to have a day off,\u201d Hammond is seen lying down in a bed wearing a hospital gown.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI know you\u2019re all worried about me. Honestly, I am fine, first of all,\u201d Hammond says. \u201cBut I\u2019m getting my old ticker checked out. I had a little bit of a palpitation, and now I\u2019m getting it all checked out. But I think I\u2019m OK. I\u2019m hoping it was just a little panic attack or something like that. I love you all. Thank you for all your lovely messages.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHammond was on screen with \u201cThis Morning\u201d co-host Dermot O\u2019Leary when she experienced the episode, and after the following ad break, O\u2019Leary told viewers she had to \u201cduck out\u201d because she was feeling \u201cunwell.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn her video, Hammond went on to apologize to ITV\u2019s \u201cThis Morning\u201d for having to exit the show unexpectedly due to the scare.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m so sorry I left you. I would never normally do that,\u201d Hammond said. \u201cI would never leave a TV show. So you know I wasn\u2019t very well. But hopefully, I\u2019m going to be all right. The doctors are so lovely, and they\u2019re checking me out. And hopefully, everything\u2019s going to be fine. I love you. Everything is fine. Look, I\u2019m rocking it. Look how good I look.
