But that’s not all. According to a separate report from Korea, Samsung Display is preparing to start mass production of the AMOLED panels for the Galaxy S27 family this month.

As rumored countless times before, there will be four members in this lineup: the 6.27-inch Galaxy S27, the 6.66-inch Galaxy S27+, the 6.47-inch Galaxy S27 Pro, and the 6.89-inch Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S26+

The addition of the Pro model means Samsung Display expects to provide about 10% more panels for the Galaxy S27 series compared to the Galaxy S26 family, with its annual shipment target being between 47 million and 48 million units. The shipment target for the Galaxy S26 devices was in the “low 40 million range”, for reference.

Samsung allegedly wants Samsung Display to ship 2 to 3 million panels for the Galaxy S27 Pro this year and 4 to 5 million units next year. This doesn’t mean the devices will launch in 2026 – just that Samsung wants the displays to be ready for assembly in early 2027, which is most likely when it’s actually launching the four members of the Galaxy S27 family.

The fact that both the Galaxy S27 Pro and the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have the Privacy Display feature pioneered by the Galaxy S26 Ultra has also been ‘confirmed’ yet again, as much as any such rumor can really ‘confirm’ anything of course.

Source (in Korean)

Earlier today we reported on the fact that Samsung has apparently started mass producing the Exynos 2700 chipset…

[16
2306,86,56,54,55
post-790444","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mobile","tag-mobile","tag-technology","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
