Chad Lowe\u2019s eldest daughter has paid tribute to her little sister following her death at age 13.<\/p>\n

The Lowe family confirmed on Tuesday that Fiona had died<\/a>, expressing that they were \u2018deeply heartbroken\u2019.<\/p>\n

Their statement also included crisis hotline details, and the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner later confirmed her manner of death<\/a> to be suicide. <\/p>\n

As well as Fiona, Chad and his wife, producer Kim Painter, have daughters, Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10, with the eldest speaking out this evening after a devastating week.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram<\/a>, she shared a series of personal snaps of Fiona, which highlighted their close relationship.<\/p>\n

The pictures included one of Mabel and Fiona playing in the sand on holiday, while another showed Fiona posing in her ballet attire.<\/p>\n

Mabel\u2019s caption read: \u2018I love you so much fiona \u2764\ufe0f i wish your short time here was easier and i hope your mind is at ease now. <\/p>\n

\u2018I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, i hope you knew just how much.\u2019<\/p>\n

Her comments section was soon filled with messages of support and condolence, including from actress Billie Lourd, who left three red hearts.<\/p>\n

Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor David Boreanaz also wrote, \u2018Lovely\u2764\ufe0f two peas in a pod forever \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffb\ud83e\udd85\u2019, having also shared his own tribute earlier in the week.<\/p>\n

Alongside a photo with the Lowe family, he penned: \u2018My Deepest condolences to my friends Chad and Kim with the loss of their beautiful soul, Fiona. <\/p>\n

When announcing that Fiona had died, Pretty Little Liars star Chad and his family described her as a \u2018loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,\u2019 they added. \u2018In fact, she was the light of our lives.<\/p>\n

\u2018Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.\u2019<\/p>\n

Chad\u2019s father, Charles \u2018Chuck\u2019 Lowe, posted a photo the following day, showing Fiona smiling at the camera while swimming.<\/p>\n

\u2018Rest in peace sweet Fiona,\u2019 he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

Kendra Andrews, Fiona\u2019s dance teacher, wrote alongside some rehearsal footage: \u2018We will never be the same without you here.\u2019<\/p>\n

Fiona was pronounced dead in hospital at 1.14am on September 29, with her body now released to her family.<\/p>\n

She would have turned 14 in November, with Chad, 58, posting for her milestone last year: \u2018Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!\u2019<\/p>\n

Chad also previously shared affectionately that being his daughters\u2019 dad is the \u2018greatest joy and privilege\u2019.<\/p>\n

Appearing on the Still Here podcast in 2024, the 9-1-1: Lone Star actor said: \u2018I\u2019m a girl dad. It\u2019s so interesting because [I\u2019m] always wanting to have my own experiences and not live in the shadow or follow in the footsteps of somebody. I get the experience of being a girl dad.<\/p>\n

\u2018I feel like having daughters is such an incredible privilege.\u2019<\/p>\n

He continued: \u2018I know that there are struggles.<\/p>\n

\u2018And now it\u2019s taken what I\u2019ve known intellectually, and it\u2019s put it in my heart because I now have three daughters. And so, I look at the world from really their perspective, and I see the world and a lot of the injustices in the world from their perspective.\u2019<\/p>\n

After their lives were uprooted as a result of the Pacific Palisades wildfires last February, Chad stated that \u2018helping them navigate these tough times is [his] sole purpose\u2019.<\/p>\n

In January, he reflected on the \u2018catastrophe\u2019, sharing images of the ruins left behind of what was once their loving home 12 months on.<\/p>\n

\u2018Losing everything I ever owned and the home we raised our family in is still deeply painful to this day,\u2019 he penned, adding that he was \u2018incredibly proud\u2019 of his wife and daughters for making \u2018the absolute best of this extraordinarily difficult circumstance\u2019. <\/p>\n

\u2018I am in awe of their resilience.\u2019<\/p>\n

Chad, who won an Emmy for his supporting role in Life Goes On, is the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, 62.<\/p>\n

His relatives are understood to be supporting him as he grieves, with a source telling People<\/a>: \u2018Rob and Chad are very close. Their family and friends have rallied around Chad and Kim.<\/p>\n

\u2018Everyone\u2019s heartbroken. They already went through so much with losing their home last year.<\/p>\n

\u2018Right now, the focus is on being there for them in any way they can.\u2019<\/p>\n
