Rubber Soul spent a total of eight consecutive weeks at Number 1 in 1965 and was their sixth chart-topping record in all at the time. It was also recently revealed by Official Charts as the sixth most-streamed album of the 1960s<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Their last Number 1 album came back in October\u00a02019, when\u00a0Abbey Road<\/a> rebounded back to the top.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

With more weeks at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart than any other act<\/a>, can The Beatles roll back the years and reign supreme once again?<\/p>\n

Looking to spoil the party are Blossoms<\/a> with their anthemic LP, Songs From The Wedding Cake (2). Eyeing\u00a0their fifth Number 1, it will aim to join their self-titled debut<\/a> (2016), Foolish Loving Spaces<\/a> (2020), Ribbon Around The Bomb<\/a> (2022) and Gary<\/a> (2024) in achieving this accolade.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Former The Smiths<\/a> guitarist and legendary figure Johnny Marr<\/a> may clinch his highest charting album to date on The Age Of Everything (3). His fifth full address will look to surpass 2022’s Fever Dreams Pts 1-4<\/a>, which peaked at Number 4.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

South\u00a0East London’s finest Fat Dog<\/a> are also tracking for a new personal best on sophomore release, Cancel Me (I’m Tired) (4).\u00a0This would also be the band’s first Top 10.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

There could be an Albums Chart debut for Midlands\u00a0based heavy-blues cohort These Wicked Rivers<\/a> on Fire and Folklore (19), as Drake<\/a>‘s HABIBTI<\/a> looks to re-enter the Top 40 following an expanded release of the record (20).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Finally, Swedish death metal five-piece Amon Amarth<\/a> begin their campaign for a third Top 40 with The Allfather Awakens (37).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
