A GP surgery has temporarily closed to patients because of \u201cextremely difficult circumstances\u201d affecting its practice team.<\/p>\n
Grimston Medical Centre, including its dispensary, announced the closure today and said it expects to remain shut for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n
Patients who were due to attend appointments today are being contacted about alternative arrangements.<\/p>\n

The surgery said patients can still call its usual number while it is closed.<\/p>\n
Calls will be answered and triaged by another healthcare provider, which will help patients access appropriate care.<\/p>\n
Anyone needing urgent medical help who cannot wait until the practice reopens has been advised to contact NHS 111 online or by calling 111.<\/p>\n
Patients who urgently need medication can also request it through NHS 111 or access another pharmacy.<\/p>\n
Anyone experiencing a life-threatening emergency should call 999.<\/p>\n
The practice said: \u201cWe are sorry to let patients know that Grimston Medical Centre, including the dispensary, is temporarily closed due to extremely difficult circumstances affecting our practice team.\u201d<\/p>\n
It apologised for the disruption – the reason for which is not known at this time.<\/p>\n
