I rode the <a href=\"https:\/\/bikepacking.com\/routes\/rutors-retreat\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rutor\u2019s Retreat<\/a> bikepacking route, and oh my, what an amazing adventure! September is always the perfect time to go up here. A milestone day out, seeing 10-year-old Jamie step up to genuine backcountry Lancashire riding, navigating the steep gradients and exposed fells and punching way above his weight both up and down.
