\n The property<\/a> at 550 Dumbarton<\/a> Road, in the heart of the West End<\/a>, was sold for an undisclosed sum following a confidential sales process handled by business property adviser Christie & Co.\n<\/p>\n

\n The premises, which was previously owned by Dave Kennedy, has been marketed as a fully fitted healthcare facility suitable for dental, medical, aesthetic and wellness operators.\n<\/p>\n

\n The building includes five surgery rooms and has recently been refurbished, with air conditioning installed throughout.\n<\/p>\n

\n Truly Dental said the property’s location and existing fit-out made it an attractive opportunity as it looks to grow its Scottish operations. The acquisition will become the group’s second practice in Glasgow.\n<\/p>\n

\n Kennedy decided to sell the facility after relocating outside the city.\n<\/p>\n

\n Commenting on the sale, he said: “Having acquired the practice in the summer of 2024, I felt that the time was right to move on and take advantage of the current market conditions.\n<\/p>\n

\n “Throughout my ownership, it has been a pleasure to be involved with the practice, and I am delighted to be passing it on to Truly.\n<\/p>\n

\n “They have an excellent reputation and exciting growth ambitions, and I have every confidence that the practice will continue to thrive under their ownership.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Jimmy Dalton, chief financial officer at Truly Dental, said the company plans further investment in the site.\n<\/p>\n

\n He said: “We were immediately attracted to the practice due to its prime West End location and the high quality of the existing fit-out.\n<\/p>\n

\n “The five-surgery facility provides an excellent foundation for our second Truly practice in Glasgow and supports our ambition to bring accessible, high-quality dental care to even more patients across the city.\n<\/p>\n

\n “Looking ahead, we plan to further develop the practice into a modern and welcoming Truly Dental clinic, with a particular focus on affordable surgical dentistry and delivering an exceptional patient experience.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Kevin Strain, senior business agent, dental, at Christie & Co, said the deal reflected strong demand for healthcare and dental opportunities across Scotland.\n<\/p>\n

\n He added: “The sale of 550 Dumbarton Road demonstrates the strength of demand we are currently seeing for well-located dental opportunities across Scotland.\n<\/p>\n

\n “There is a lot of appetite from buyers for opportunities where they can acquire a quality location and build a practice around their own vision.”\n<\/p>\n
