Terence Crawford<\/a> has been linked to a comeback in recent weeks, but now a reigning world champion has added further fuel to the fire by vowing to \u2018beat that old man\u2019, if Crawford agrees to a ring return.<\/p>\n

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are scheduled to collide<\/a> in the standout spectacle of the 2026 boxing calendar this December, but there are still some concerns as to whether the pair will meet, due to contractual issues and the potential involvement of Zuffa Boxing CEO Dana White.<\/p>\n

Should the fight collapse, Turki Alalshikh has been reported to be lining up a showdown between Crawford \u2013 who retired last December \u2013 and current WBC welterweight world champion Ryan Garcia<\/a>, as a back-up option. Although, both men have publicly claimed to be unaware of this.<\/p>\n

Speaking to FightHype<\/a>, Garcia has now called the bout on, declaring that 40-year-old \u2018Bud\u2019 Crawford is currently having a \u2018mid-life crisis\u2019 whilst confidently promising to hang the Omaha southpaw a first career defeat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will fight anybody. I don\u2019t give a f**k; win, draw, lose, happy, sad, mad \u2013 whatever, I am onto the next one.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe [Crawford] didn\u2019t know [about those plans] and I didn\u2019t either but once I heard the rumours I said \u2018put me in, coach\u2019. I don\u2019t give a f**k, I will beat that old man\u2019s a**. He is having a mid-life crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n
