Arc System Works will bring its 2015 fighter BlazBlue: Central Fiction<\/a> natively to the PS5 in the future, although a release date has not been announced.<\/p>\n

The port will feature a variety of highly requested community updates, including: rollback crossplay netcode with the PC release, four new text languages, and various improved training modes.<\/p>\n

Presumably it\u2019ll also benefit from the PS5\u2019s added horsepower, so expect some minor presentation improvements.<\/p>\n

The Japanese studio confirmed recently that it\u2019ll update the decade-old brawler<\/a> with a new character on the PS4, Trinity Glassfille.<\/p>\n

While its wording is a little ambiguous, it sounds like the PS5 version\u2019s launch date will not necessarily align with Trinity\u2019s addition. No date for the new character has been confirmed either.<\/p>\n

This a surprise and welcome announcement, which should ensure BlazBlue: Central Fiction sticks around for many years to come.<\/p>\n

Wording on Arc System Works\u2019 American social media post<\/a> implies this will be a free upgrade for existing PS4 owners, but Arc System Works says it\u2019ll announce more information in due course.<\/p>\n
