{"id":800515,"date":"2026-10-12T20:16:17","date_gmt":"2026-10-12T20:16:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/800515\/"},"modified":"2026-10-12T20:16:17","modified_gmt":"2026-10-12T20:16:17","slug":"ringland-pharmacy-wins-best-customer-service-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/800515\/","title":{"rendered":"Ringland Pharmacy wins Best Customer Service award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southwalesargus.co.uk\/local-news\/newport-news\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Newport<\/a> pharmacy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southwalesargus.co.uk\/news\/26620585.south-wales-community-awards-2026-winners-announced\/?ref=mse_al\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">picked up the Best Customer Service award<\/a> at the 2026 South Wales Community Awards.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Sponsored by WOW First Aid, the award recognises businesses that put care and dedication into serving customers.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Ringland Pharmacy was praised for helping local residents with a friendly, reliable service all year round.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Jonathan Hughes spoke for the pharmacy after collecting the award.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Hughes said he was \u201cecstatic\u201d and \u201creally happy\u201d.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He said the award recognised the staff\u2019s hard work.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>The new Ringland Pharmacy (Image: NQ)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Hughes said: &#8220;It&#8217;s a lot of hard work, the team&#8217;s worked really hard towards it and it&#8217;s an honour for us to receive this award.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He said serving local people was at the heart of the pharmacy\u2019s work.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Hughes said: &#8220;It&#8217;s an honour to give good service to our community.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The pharmacy offers healthcare advice and support for residents with a range of health needs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Its work includes vaccination programmes, health guidance and reassurance for people seeking support.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  For many residents, the pharmacy is one of the first places they turn to for health advice.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Hughes said the award belonged to the whole staff and credited the entire team, saying: &#8220;The team, the full team.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;It&#8217;s a full team effort, they work hard day in day out.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Ceremony host Sian Lloyd explained why the category mattered.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Ms Lloyd said: &#8220;This award really is about shining spotlights on the firms that go the extra mile for their customers.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  She praised Ringland Pharmacy for supporting the community and people who rely on pharmacy services.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Ms Lloyd said: &#8220;They support vaccination programmes, provide accessible advice, they help vulnerable individuals who rely on pharmacy as the first point of contact.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Their work strengthens public health and builds trust within the community.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\" alt=\"Our sponsors for 2026\"\/>The South Wales Community Awards 2026 sponsors (Image: NQ)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  WOW First Aid founder Tracey Lord presented the award during the ceremony.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  For Jonathan, the recognition was a chance to celebrate the colleagues who work tirelessly to support the Ringland community.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  And while collecting the award was a special moment, he was keen to emphasise that the team&#8217;s dedication extends far beyond one evening.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He said: &#8220;It&#8217;s not a flash in the pan, it&#8217;s a consistency all year round.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Newport pharmacy picked up the Best Customer Service award at the 2026 South Wales Community Awards.
