Deontay Wilder<\/a> has reportedly been presented with another possible option for the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua card later this year.<\/p>\n

The long-awaited clash between the two British heavyweights will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 11, with a big undercard currently being discussed for the event.<\/p>\n

One of the potential fights is set to involve former WBC heavyweight champion Wilder, with a fight against unbeaten cruiserweight star Jai Opetaia<\/a> having been discussed over the past week.<\/p>\n

Another name for Wilder has now emerged, after kickboxing star Rico Verhoeven told TalkSport<\/a> that he has accepted an offer to face \u2018The Bronze Bomber\u2019 on the bill.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got an offer for the December 11 card. I can\u2019t confirm just yet [that I will be on the card]. What I can confirm is that they offered me a fight with Deontay Wilder, and I said yes.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, the details still need to be talked about. I\u2019m waiting on the response. So if there is a yes from the other side, then it is going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Verhoeven was last in action back in May when he made the transition to boxing to take on heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, in a bout that many expected to be straightforward victory for the Ukrainian.<\/p>\n

It certainly didn\u2019t transpire that way, with Verhoeven pushing Usyk all the way until he was controversially stopped in the 11th round,<\/a> but that has opened the door to a number of lucrative options for the Dutchman.<\/p>\n
