\n The change is being made by Mattishall & Lenwade Surgeries and will take effect next week from October 19.\n<\/p>\n
\n The pharmacy will no longer have access to patients\u2019 NHS records or NHS numbers, and repeat prescription slips will not be provided with medication.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesman for Mattishall and Lenwade Surgeries said: “We appreciate your understanding and support while we make this important change to our pharmacy systems.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We are working together to support your healthcare.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Paper prescriptions from the surgery will no longer be needed, as all prescriptions will now be sent electronically to the pharmacy.\n<\/p>\n
\n As part of the transition, the pharmacy will not be able to process acute same-day or urgent medication requests from 1pm on Thursday, October 15, until 10am on Monday, October 19.\n<\/p>\n
\n Patients who need urgent medication during this period will need to have their prescriptions sent to another pharmacy.\n<\/p>\n
\n The pharmacy will continue to offer Pharmacy First consultations, flu and Covid vaccinations, other NHS services, and the collection of pre-ordered medication during this time.\n<\/p>\n
\n Patients who need their NHS number or a list of repeat medications are advised to ask a member of the surgery\u2019s reception or dispensary team.\n<\/p>\n
