Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/a>, who was convicted of prostitution-related crimes, has been moved to a federal prison in Pennsylvania<\/a> after reports that the disgraced music producer was living the high life and was injured in a fight at his New Jersey<\/a> lockup, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The US Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is transferring Combs, 56, from FCI Fort Dix to FCI Allenwood Low, a low-security facility south of Williamsport and about 155 miles (250km) west of New York City, a person familiar with the matter said to the Associated Press. The person was not authorized to speak publicly and did so on condition of anonymity.<\/p>\n

Agence France-Press later reported being told by a BOP spokesperson that Combs had been moved from Fort Dix to Allenwood Low.<\/p>\n

Combs\u2019s spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said \u201cdecisions about inmate placement are made by the BOP, and we are not in a position to speak to the circumstances surrounding this transfer\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSean remains focused on moving forward, and we hope that his time at the new facility will be productive and without unnecessary disruption,\u201d Engelmayer said.<\/p>\n

Combs was given a four-year-and-two-month sentence for his 2 July 2025 conviction<\/a> on prostitution-related charges for transporting people across state lines for sexual encounters. The case featured harrowing testimony about violence and sex parties he called \u201cfreak-offs\u201d. It was a forceful reckoning for one of music and entertainment\u2019s most influential figures.<\/p>\n

In September, NBC News reported<\/a> that Combs was continuing to enjoy aspects of his millionaire lifestyle at FCI Fort Dix, smuggling in Hennessy cognac; having fellow inmates cook, clean, make his bed and give him massages; and using a contraband cellphone to view social media and an ex-girlfriend\u2019s nude selfies.<\/p>\n

TMZ on Wednesday then reported<\/a> that Combs was injured in a fight with another inmate at Fort Dix and had to be taken out of the prison for treatment. In a rare rebuttal, the BOP refuted TMZ\u2019s report, telling the AP: \u201cThe story you are referring to is false and did not happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the wake of the NBC report, Combs was placed in the prison\u2019s special housing unit, a heavily secured part of the facility away from the general population for inmates with disciplinary issues or security concerns. He has also been docked 41 days of good-conduct credit, pushing his release date back to 2 March 2028, according to the person familiar with the matter who spoke to the AP.<\/p>\n

The second US circuit court of appeals in April heard arguments in Combs\u2019s effort to overturn his conviction and sentence, which his lawyers argued was too harsh.
