\u201cWe are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother,\u201d it said. \u201cWe feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain.<\/p>\n
\u201cTil we meet again our sweet boy.\u201d<\/p>\n
The message was signed \u201cwith love forever\u201d from Crawford and Gerber and their daughter, Kaia Gerber.<\/p>\n
Kaia, who like her mother is a model, also expressed her support in the comments, shared a message on her own page alongside a carousel of images and videos of herself with Presley.<\/p>\n
In a letter addressed to her brother, she wrote: \u201cPrez, I don\u2019t have the words. Maybe the tiny mercy is that we didn\u2019t need them all along.\u201d<\/p>\n
She wrote that she had \u201cnone of the answers\u201d and could not articulate the \u201cmagnitude\u201d of losing her brother.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know how much I loved being your sister. It has always been, and will forever be, my favourite thing about myself.\u201d<\/p>\n
The letter described her older brother as \u201cinherently good\u201d and her \u201cultimate teacher\u201d, recounting childhood memories as she reflected on her grief.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am learning how to love you when I cannot see you,\u201d Kaia she. \u201cHow to tell you something without picking up my phone to call you. How to be your sister in a world that I can\u2019t reach for you in. I don\u2019t know how to do that yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
She concluded: \u201cMy best buddy, my great protector, the hardest I\u2019ve ever laughed and the one true love of my life. You lit all of my candles and took all of my monsters away, and I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n
The post was set to the song First I Was by Jake Minch, which Kaia described as \u201cthe last thing we talked about\u201d.<\/p>\n
