Harry Kane would love to know now whether he has won the Ballon d\u2019Or because the uncertainty and constant questions are driving his family to distraction. But the Bayern Munich<\/a> and England striker accepts the \u00adsuspense before the big reveal at the London Palladium on Monday night is part of the show.<\/p>\n

Kane is the odds-on favourite to win the prestigious individual \u00adhonour after a prolific run of form. The 33-year-old scored 61 goals for Bayern last season and 12 for England. This time out, he has 10 for Bayern and six for England.<\/p>\n

He scored from the penalty spot in Wednesday\u2019s 2-2 Champions League draw against Arsenal<\/a> at the Allianz Arena, although his standout moment was the inch-perfect through ball that set up Alphonso Davies to make it 1-1.<\/p>\n

Barcelona\u2019s Lamine Yamal is the second-favourite for the Ballon d\u2019Or and Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 of Real Madrid is next in the betting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my wife would prefer to know and my family \u2026 it\u2019s very stressful for everyone,\u201d Kane said. \u201cI can see why they don\u2019t tell people. They want everyone to go, all the big names, and there will be more people watching it if they don\u2019t know so I can understand why.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom my point of view, I\u2019d love to\u00a0know to just kind of see and not have to wait throughout the whole night. But it is their decision, I can\u2019t\u00a0control that. We\u2019ll have to just enjoy it and try not to stress out too\u00a0much.<\/p>\n

\u201cI try not to think about it. \u00adObviously it is hard not to. There are always rumours and stuff flying around so you try to stay away from\u00a0it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kane\u2019s fellow Bayern forward Luis D\u00edaz will be out \u2060of action for the \u201cforeseeable future\u201d after suffering a minor muscle \u2060tear in his \u2060left \u200bhamstring during Wednesday\u2019s game.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old Colombia international came on in the \u206068th minute at the Allianz Arena but \u200bwas forced off \u200cin stoppage \u200ctime after suffering the injury.<\/p>\n
