The Environment Agency suggests:<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">In Dorset, several flood alerts are in place including Christchurch Harbour due to high tides and also Preston Beach at Weymouth, Swanage Bay, Studland Bay, Sandbanks, Poole Harbour, Bournemouth Beach, Hengistbury Head.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Flood alerts on Dorset&#8217;s west coast cover Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seatown, West Bay, Bothenhampton, Burton Freshwater, Burton Bradstock, Cogden Beach, Chesil Beach, West Fleet, East Fleet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Met Office has issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/weather\/warnings\/weather\" class=\"ssrcss-1e0jzsh-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">yellow weather warning<\/a> for the south coast including Dorset, The Isle of Wight and Hampshire until 17:00 BST.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/weather\/warnings\/weather\" class=\"ssrcss-1e0jzsh-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">amber weather warning<\/a> for strong winds is in place for Cornwall and parts of Devon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A flood warning, external means that flooding is expected so you should act now.
