The club can today confirm the departure of winger Dennon Lewis, following a brilliant spell at Meadowbank.<\/p>\n
Joining the Wanderers at the start of last season, Dennon quickly established himself as a fan favourite, impressing supporters with his exciting, direct approach and becoming an important part of the squad.<\/p>\n
Despite the best efforts of both parties to make things work, the distance and travel involved have made it increasingly difficult for Dennon to continue with the club. As a result, he has chosen to explore another opportunity, joining Slough Town, where the circumstances will better suit his situation.<\/p>\n
Dennon will not be playing in tomorrow\u2019s match in Berkshire.<\/p>\n
On Dennon\u2019s departure, manager Marc White said:<\/p>\n
\u201cDennon has been a part of our journey and, as with all players that have represented the club, will remain a Wanderer forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will be remembered as a typical Wanderers player \u2013 electric and exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe made a real impact during his time here, and we thank him for everything he has contributed to the club.\u201d<\/p>\n
