\n Emergency services were called to the incident by Masefield Crescent today (October 24) at 11.44am.\n<\/p>\n
\n A London Air Ambulance landed at Gidea Park Sports Ground and an injured man, whose age has not been confirmed at this time, was found.\n<\/p>\n
\n He was pronounced dead at the scene.\n<\/p>\n
\n Road closures are in place between A12 Eastern Avenue northbound from Masefield Crescent to Gallows Corner.\n<\/p>\n
\n Eastern Avenue East southbound is also closed from Gallows Corner to Heath Drive.\n<\/p>\n
\n The closure has been ongoing for over three hours.\n<\/p>\n

\n Separately, further traffic has been building up in the area closer to Romford Town Centre, due to a crash on Main Road.\n<\/p>\n
\n It is closed between Oaklands Avenue and Erroll Road, with four bus routes diverted.\n<\/p>\n
\n A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: \u201cWe were called at 11.44am on Saturday 24 October to reports of a road traffic collision near Masefield Crescent, RM3.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic practitioner. We also dispatched a trauma team from London\u2019s Air Ambulance.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cVery sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
