{"id":814799,"date":"2026-10-26T21:50:17","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T21:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/814799\/"},"modified":"2026-10-26T21:50:17","modified_gmt":"2026-10-26T21:50:17","slug":"coronation-streets-ian-puleston-davies-returns-to-soap-after-11-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/814799\/","title":{"rendered":"Coronation Street&#8217;s Ian Puleston-Davies returns to soap after 11 years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Coronation Street star Ian Puleston-Davies is returning to the soap opera more than a decade after he left.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The 67-year-old will reprise his role as Owen Armstrong almost 11 years after the character left Weatherfield, following the collapse of his business and breakdown of his relationship with Anna Windass.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The no-nonsense builder&#8217;s return will see him move in with daughter Izzy and grandson Jake, and making it clear he blames Anna Windass&#8217; son, Gary Windass, for his family&#8217;s misfortune.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Puleston-Davies, from Flint, in Flintshire, said: &#8220;I can&#8217;t wait to pick up where I left off 10 years ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;It&#8217;s brilliant to be back and to get stuck into a cracking storyline.
