Both Poland and the United Kingdom support strengthening this alliance,&#8221; the Polish Defence Minister said during \u200ba joint press conference with British Defence Minister Wes \u2060Streeting.<\/p>\n<p>He \u2060said both countries backed \u2060efforts \u200bto strengthen Europe&#8217;s defence capabilities and strategic autonomy, but \u200bnot at the \u2060expense of ties with Washington.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is no alternative to transatlantic cooperation. Any other solution is simply worse, it is bad.
