<\/p>\nThe world\u2019s longest-running entertainment show The Royal Variety Performance in support of the\u00a0Royal Variety Charity, returns to the magnificent Royal Albert Hall in London,\u00a0in the presence of Their Majesties, King Charles III and Queen Camilla.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Comedian, actor and presenter Jason Manford\u00a0is hosting for his third time, making this his sixth appearance on The Royal Variety Performance in line with legends such as Tommy Cooper and Ken Dodd.<\/p>\n
The King, who is the sole Patron of the Royal Variety Charity, will be watching alongside Queen Camilla, who will be attending the performance for the first time as The Queen.<\/p>\n
As ever, the night promises a star-studded line-up of acts from the world of entertainment with this year\u2019s show including: A TV world exclusive and sneak preview performance of \u2018The Greatest Show\u2019 from the highly anticipated West End musical, The Greatest Showman.<\/p>\n
Multi-award winning Idina Menzel, the original Elphaba, who is flying in from the States to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Wicked\u00a0with her rendition of \u2018The Wizard & I\u2019 as she is joined on stage by the musical’s acclaimed composer Stephen Schwartz.<\/p>\n
The Hawkstone Farmers\u2019 Choir,\u00a0who will be taking to the stage to perform a special song following their amazing Britain\u2019s Got Talent performance which saw them become the first choir ever to win the show.<\/p>\n
Music from Brit Award winner\u00a0and Celebrity Traitors star\u00a0James Blunt,\u00a0and the legendary Vanessa Williams\u00a0who will perform her massive hit \u2018Save The Best For Last\u2019. Plus, Jack Savoretti,\u00a0who will make his Royal Variety debut, and maestro Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who will make an exclusive appearance to celebrate 30 years since he first became an international superstar.<\/p>\n
Ahead of its return to the West End, and marking 21 years since the stage musical first opened, the cast of Billy Elliot the Musical will perform the exceptional \u2018Electricity\u2019.<\/p>\n
Surprise star cameos will also appear in a specially re-written version of \u2018For Now\u2019 and \u2018It Sucks To Be Me\u2019, from the outrageously funny musical Avenue Q\u00a0and there\u2019ll be a supersized\u00a0medley straight from the current hit revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice\u2019s classic Jesus Christ Superstar, led by Sam Ryder.<\/p>\n
The exceptional The Ramadhani Brothers and head balancer Veronika Ivanova, from the breathtaking acrobatic circus show Cirque Alice,\u00a0will make their European debuts. The evening will also feature comedy from surreal comedian and star of Mock The Week Milton Jones, as well as more laughs from comedian\u00a0Phil Wang.<\/p>\n
Plus the award-winning musical Operation Mincemeat will be bringing current and original cast members together as they are joined on stage by the Royal Naval Association Choir,\u00a0members of The Band of His Majesty\u2019s Royal Marines, The Band of the Irish Guards and the Band of the Welsh Guards Fanfare Team. And tenor Alfie Boe\u00a0will lead the National Anthem.<\/p>\n
Jason Manford said:\u00a0\u201cWhat a huge privilege to be asked to host The Royal Variety Performance for a third time. It\u2019s an amazing line up, in aid of a wonderful charity so I can\u2019t wait for everybody to see what surprises we have up our sleeves this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
