<\/p>\nCustomers can make instant payments directly from their ringgit bank accounts through the HLB Connect app without downloading another app or topping up a separate e-wallet.<\/p>\n
Depending on the merchant and payment network, they can scan a merchant\u2019s QR code or present their HLB QR Pay code for scanning.<\/p>\n
HLB Connect already supports cross-border QR payments through PayNet\u2019s links with Singapore\u2019s NETS, Thailand\u2019s PromptPay, Indonesia\u2019s QRIS and Cambodia\u2019s Bakong.<\/p>\n
The bank also connects to UnionPay International and Weixin Pay, providing access to more than 120 million QR-enabled merchants across China, Hong Kong, Macao and Thailand.<\/p>\n
Customers can also link eligible HLB cards to Weixin Pay or use Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay when travelling abroad.<\/p>\n
