Now, one of Joshua\u2019s former trainers has offered his verdict on the fight.<\/p>\n<p>After twice losing to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua returned to action under the tutelage of American trainer Derrick James, who also trained the likes of Jermell Charlo and Errol Spence Jr at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018AJ\u2019 bounced back with a decision victory against Jermaine Franklin Jr. and then followed that win up with a <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/news\/bn-verdict-anthony-joshua-expresses-his-relief-after-knocking-out-in-fine-style-an-opponent-he-was-supposed-to-knock-out-2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">knockout of Robert Helenius<\/a> a few months later, only to then move on from James and appoint Ben Davison as his lead cornerman.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/uMtnlI9h1jo?si=4rQGKBDE7hyvqs_x\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">FightHype<\/a>, James revealed that he will be attending Fury-Joshua in support of his former fighter and explained that Joshua will need to \u2018use his mobility\u2019 and \u2018be defensively sound\u2019 to come out on top.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAJ has to be smart, he has to be intelligent, he has to use his mobility. He has very fast hands and very fast feet, and I think that will be the key for him to be successful.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am a big fan of AJ, I am going to the fight. I love him and I am going for him, so I am a little biased!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that he has to be intelligent and be very technically and defensively sound.
