Holy Schnitzel is opening in Boca Raton. The kosher fast-casual chain will take over the former Boca Grill space at the Somerset Shoppes. Co-founder Ofeer Benaltaba says the restaurant should open in late November.

A Kosher Space Gets a New Tenant

Boca Grill served kosher diners at this spot until it closed. Holy Schnitzel keeps the space kosher.

What to Expect on the Menu

Siblings Sivan and Ofeer Benaltaba founded Holy Schnitzel in Staten Island in 2015. Each piece of chicken is pounded thin, seasoned and breaded by hand. It comes in sandwiches, wraps and bowls.

The Boca Raton menu also has falafel, paninis, smash burgers and the Jerusalem Mix. The Jerusalem Mix is marinated steak, shawarma and grilled pastrami on a baguette. Vegetarian options include Cauliflower Crunch. Other locations also serve popcorn chicken, chicken fingers and BBQ Pulled Brisket Tacos.

More than two dozen sauces are on offer. They include the house Holy Sauce, smoky garlic aioli, chimichurri and Asian sesame, plus garlic, spicy and jalapeño mayos. As in Hollywood, guests can mix and match proteins, toppings and sauces, or order one of the house combinations.

Location Details

Holy Schnitzel Boca Raton will be at 8903 Glades Road, Suite G9, Boca Raton, FL 33434. The owner expects it to open in late November.

More Holy Schnitzel Locations

Boca Raton will be the chain’s second Florida restaurant. The first is Holy Schnitzel in Hollywood, which marked a return to Florida for the brand. In New York, Holy Schnitzel is open in Staten Island, Brooklyn (Borough Park, Crown Heights and Sheepshead Bay), Flushing, Cedarhurst and the Upper West Side. It also has a Times Square location for pickup and delivery. In New Jersey, the chain is open in Roseland. A Highland Park, NJ restaurant is on the way.

The Tony Special wrap with fries.
