Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> host Josh Widdicombe <\/a>has come under fire from avid fans as they felt he failed to make an effort for Halloween week on the BBC show.<\/p>\n

Josh became the main subject of discussion on X for simply wearing a navy suit, while his co-hosts dressed up for the annual occasion.<\/p>\n

One fan wrote: “Josh has dressed up a treat for Halloween I see… He appears to have come as\u2026 himself!”<\/p>\n

Another viewer made a harsh assessment, saying: “Nice to see Josh came dressed up as an unfunny talentless presenter #strictly #strictlycomedancing.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile a third fan commented: “Josh could have at least made an effort with dressing up a bit for Halloween #strictly #strictlycomedancing.”<\/p>\n

But this is not the first time the TV presenter and comedian has been on the receiving end of viewers’ frustration.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, it was revealed that fans had called for him to be replaced as they felt he was simply out of his depth and questioned how he made it through the rigorous audition process.<\/p>\n

Instead of Josh, viewers have suggested it should be Ellie Taylor <\/a>who host alongside Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe.<\/p>\n

Jumping on to X once again, one fan wrote: “@EllieJaneTaylor get rid of Josh and Johannes should be back on the dance floor. Ellie Taylor should be doing the main Saturday show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another said: \u201cEllie Taylor in two minutes has already proven better than Josh and JoJo combined.\u201d<\/p>\n

And a third added: \u201cEllie on #ItTakesTwo is refreshing and a nice surprise. Can she please do a swap and come and do the Saturday night shows\u2026she\u2019s MILES better than Josh and JoJo!!\u201d<\/p>\n

It was also recently revealed that she had started the secret chemistry test but failed to make the cut.<\/p>\n

Josh was announced a part of the trio who took over from the much loved Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly who announced during the last series that they were bowing out from their coveted roles, after two decades on the BBC show.<\/p>\n
