{"id":821312,"date":"2026-11-02T02:28:12","date_gmt":"2026-11-02T02:28:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/821312\/"},"modified":"2026-11-02T02:28:12","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T02:28:12","slug":"hull-fc-signing-daly-cherry-evans-looking-forward-to-the-lifestyle-ahead-of-super-league-switch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/821312\/","title":{"rendered":"Hull FC signing Daly Cherry-Evans \u2018looking forward to the lifestyle\u2019 ahead of Super League switch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/11\/NRL-NZ-v-Roosters-4553-1.jpg\" class=\"attachment- size- wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Hull FC signing Daly Cherry-Evans has revealed that he\u2019s looking forward to the lifestyle when he makes the switch over to Super League for 2027, speaking on the challenges that the move will bring for him and his family.<\/p>\n<p>The Black and Whites shocked Super League when announcing the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-how-hull-fc-signed-dce-as-age-concerns-rubbished-117842\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> signing of NRL legend Cherry-Evans<\/a>, who won the competition this past season with the Roosters in his first season at the club.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than go around in the NRL for another year, the 37-year-old has signed with Hull FC and he\u2019s now spoken on SEN Radio about his excitement to make the switch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo the people of Hull listening, I cannot wait to get over there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026I\u2019m really looking forward to what that lifestyle brings. On a footy level, which is the main purpose of why we\u2019re going over there, is the opportunity to play in Super League.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s going to bring different challenges for me as a player, which I\u2019m really looking forward to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A number of those challenges come for his family, as he explained:\u00a0\u201cOn a family level, my kids are going to be out of their comfort zone. We\u2019re going to learn a lot about what it\u2019s like to live in England, push through a winter. All those things, and potentially, if the timing is right, a chance to travel over there as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>England\u2019s Rugby League World Cup semi-final hope lives on after France thrashing \u2013<a class=\"in-cell-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HR23UkLV900&amp;t=6s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> click here to watch the latest episode of the Serious About Rugby League Show!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>DCE still has fire burning ahead of Hull FC switch<\/p>\n<p>Despite the fact he will turn 38 in February, Cherry-Evans has asserted that the competitive streak that saw him play over 300 NRL games and win the competition three times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a very high level of competition in me as a person, and that has to stay there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like, for me to compete in the NRL and Super League, you need to be competitive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like the core fundamental value of why I play the game comes from love. It\u2019s as simple as that. I love the game. I love that it allows me to compete.
