Supplements sold at Whole Foods Market have been recalled due to potential salmonella concerns.<\/p>\n

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration<\/a>, the product was sold at the supermarket chain nationwide and online on Amazon. Salmonella is a foodborne illness that can cause stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting, per the\u00a0Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/a>. No illnesses have been reported connected to the recall.<\/p>\n

“The potential contamination was identified through routine sampling of a single retail unit,” the FDA confirmed.<\/p>\n

Which product is affected?<\/p>\n

Per the FDA, one lot of 365 Whole Foods Market Standardized + Full Spectrum Blend Ashwagandha Capsules 120 count is being recalled. The product comes in a white plastic bottle:<\/p>\n

Expiration date: Oct. 13, 2028<\/p>\n

When was it sold?: Between Nov. 24, 2025 and Oct. 20, 2026<\/p>\n

What should consumers do?<\/p>\n

Consumers are advised to stop using the product, discard it and not return it to the place of purchase. However, you can get a refund at any Whole Foods Market.<\/p>\n
