He accepted the charge under Article 2.3 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which relates to the use of obscene, offensive or insulting language during an international match.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, he received one demerit point and a formal reprimand for a Level 1 breach. Level 1 offences carry a minimum penalty of a reprimand and can include a fine of up to 50 percent of a player\u2019s match fee, along with one or two demerit points.<\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old admitted his mistake, meaning no formal hearing was required.<\/p>\n<p>In the match, Australia lost to South Africa by 98 runs, with Zampa finishing with figures of 1 for 58 in his 10 overs.
