In the week Little Mix<\/a> turn 14, Mixers are treated to two new solo servings. Perrie<\/a> returns with anthemic break-up bop If He Wanted To He Would<\/a>. A comeback of sorts, the track sees Perrie find her ‘authentic’ artistic identity. “This is the music I want to make,” she tells us. “I hope you love it as much as I do!”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Leigh-Anne<\/a> brings the heat with Burning Up, her second release as an independent artist. And while there’s no new drop from bandmate JADE<\/a>, she has inspired one of this week’s most anticipated tunes.<\/p>\n

Florence + The Machine<\/a> are back with Everybody Scream<\/a>, the title track from their upcoming sixth studio album, released October 31. On the making of the song, Florence Welch told Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show: “We were looking a lot at the amazing things that are happening in pop. It’s so experimental at the moment…We were listening to Angel of My Dreams<\/a> by JADE a lot in the studio.”<\/p>\n

12 years after the release of her last album\u00a0Music To Make Boys Cry<\/a>,\u00a0Diana Vickers<\/a>\u00a0serves up comeback track Ice Cream. “It’s super camp, super sexy and super fun,” Diana tells us. “I’ve played it to a lot of my gay friends and they said ‘it’s fabulous, go for it.’ I always trust my gays!”<\/p>\n

Rising Dublin singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe<\/a> follows up recent singles Hey Ma and Talking With You with Lose Lose, as Sigrid<\/a> delivers Fort Knox, the latest single from upcoming third studio LP There’s Always More That I Could Say, out October 24.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, you can expect new music from the likes of Pixie Lott<\/a> (Coming Of Age), Kings of Leon<\/a> and Zach Bryan<\/a> (We’re Onto Something) and Fred Roberts (Object of Desire).<\/p>\n

Look out for brand-new girl band XO, too. The fresh five-piece release buzz track Ponytail this week.<\/p>\n

Now, let’s turn our attention to this week’s albums.<\/p>\n

Wolf Alice<\/a> will be hoping for a second chart-topper with fourth full-length record The Clearing. Ellie Roswell, Joff Oddie, Joel Amey and Theo Ellis earned their first Number 1 with 2021’s Blue Weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Off the back of Top 40 smashes back to friends<\/a>, undressed<\/a>, we never dated<\/a> and 12 to 12<\/a>, breakout star\u00a0sombr<\/a> unleashes his debut LP I Barely Know Her with focus track i wish i knew how to quit you.<\/p>\n

Caity Baser<\/a> follows up Top 10 2024 debut Still Learning<\/a> with There, I Said It, boasting recent singles Watch That Girl (She’s Gonna Say It), The Story of Her and The Weight of You (I’m Glad You Died).<\/p>\n

Australian duo Royel Otis<\/a> – Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovik – unveil second studio collection hickey, as Stray Kids<\/a> ride the UK’s current K-pop wave with their fourth full-length record KARMA.<\/p>\n

As his first documentary film YUNGBLUD. ARE YOU READY, BOY?<\/a> hits cinemas, YUNGBLUD releases compilation YUNGBLUD: Beyond Idols<\/a>. Meanwhile, Ava Max<\/a> instructs Don’t Click Play on her third offering.<\/p>\n
