If you\u2019re in a rush and need some last-minute Fantasy Premier League (FPL) advice, here\u2019s a quick round-up of what you need to know about Gameweek 2.<\/p>\n

All transfers and team selections need to be done by 18:30 BST on Friday 22 August.<\/p>\n

GAMEWEEK 1 CONCLUSIONS\"Who<\/p>\n

After a summer of tweaking and strategising, the opening weekend gave managers some valuable clues about how 2025\/26 might go.<\/p>\n

We saw a bunch of cheap starters<\/a>, learnt about set-piece takers<\/a> and got to check out defensive contribution (DefCon) points for the first time. 25 players received these two extra points \u2013 such as Virgil van Dijk (\u00a36.0m), Rayan Ait-Nouri (\u00a36.0m) and James Tarkowski (\u00a35.5m).<\/p>\n

Another one, midfielder Anton Stach (\u00a35.0m), impressed new Pro Pundit Tom Hadley<\/a> because he also created four chances and racked up four shots.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, fellow expert Lateriser is advising us to wait until Gameweek 3<\/a> before buying Erling Haaland (\u00a314.0m). Zophar is certainly considering it, also sharing his belief that the promoted sides won\u2019t be targeted as much<\/a> this time \u2013 it could be Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers instead.<\/p>\n

IS GYOKERES ON PENALTIES?\"Is<\/p>\n

In truth, not many weekend fixtures immediately stand out from a Fantasy perspective. There\u2019s Arsenal at home to Leeds United, explaining why Bukayo Saka (\u00a310.0m) is a unanimous Scout Squad pick<\/a> and new signing Viktor Gyokeres (\u00a39.0m) got named three out of four times.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, we\u2019re getting more and more clues<\/a> that the Swedish international will be Arsenal\u2019s penalty taker. The latest comes from Mikel Arteta\u2019s interview with ESPN Brasil.<\/p>\n

Gyokeres scored 27 out of 28 spot kicks during his two seasons at Sporting CP.<\/p>\n
