Charli XCX enjoyed a Brat summer wedding as she tied the knot with The 1975’s George Daniel at Hackney Town Hall on Saturday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The songstress, 32, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, threw convention to the wind with a leggy white mini dress which she teamed with her trademark sunglasses for the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Charli and George, 35, put on a very saucy display as they posed for snaps with family and friends as they smooched for all to see.<\/p>\n

The couple’s nearest and dearest were in attendance including The 1975 bandmates Adam Hann and\u00a0Ross MacDonald, however frontman Matty Healy<\/a> was noticeably absent.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Charli was the epitome of style in the look which boasted a plunging boat neckline and draped detailing that she wore with a traditional veil.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Slipping her feet into heels, the stunner styled her long raven tresses loose and carried a bouquet of white flowers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Despite his absence Matty reportedly attended his pal’s stag do earlier this week which took place in Ibiza.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to The Sun<\/a>, the drummer and frontman Matty, 36, flew out to the party island on Tuesday for a short but wild getaway.<\/p>\n

It comes after reports Charli and George were planning a lavish wedding in Sicily later this year, after officially tying the knot in London.<\/p>\n

A source told the publication: ‘George has been busy this summer, but his mates were determined to take him on a stag do.<\/p>\n

‘He flew to Ibiza for a couple of days for a raucous knees-up with his closest pals \u2013 including his bandmates \u2013 and party girl Charli was all for it.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

MailOnline has contacted George and Matty’s representatives for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple, who have been together since 2022, announced their engagement in November 2023.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The Sun<\/a>\u00a0claimed\u00a0the couple have spared no expense on the upcoming Sicilian celebration and have reportedly spent close to six figures.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The source revealed: ‘Charli and George fell in love with Sicily and knew they wanted to get married there.<\/p>\n

‘It’s incredibly secluded and romantic. There will be no expense spared.; it’s costing tens of thousands of pounds and visually it will be mesmerising.’<\/p>\n

It is believed that the duo wanted a ‘massive party’ with a bar that is open all night long.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaarr <\/a>earlier this year on\u00a0plans for her wedding, Charli said: ‘We’re both very chill and we kind of just want to have a party.<\/p>\n

‘Neither of us are particularly formal about marriage or care about the formalities of the ceremony or whatever.<\/p>\n

‘We just want to be together forever and have a party with our friends.’<\/p>\n

Announcing\u00a0their engagement last November\u00a0<\/a>with a post on Instagram as the star wrote:\u00a0‘charli xcx and george f***ing for life!’<\/p>\n

She shared a carousel of images including a romantic snap of George dipping her while the pair shared a kiss.<\/p>\n
